Case Summary
Develop and implement a secure imaging application for managing and retrieving employee information via the web, with restricted access.

The Challenge
Clark County Public Works Human Resources needed to implement a secure, discreet imaging application for the purpose of managing the retrieval of employee information via the web with secure restricted access.

The ImageSource Solution
The solution was designed and integrated by ImageSource, utilizing Stellent® Image and Business Process Management software for content storage and retrieval. Kofax® Ascent Capture was implemented for image scanning and data validation. The solution allows all users to capture, store and manage all of the documents and data associated with critical business transactions. The human resources manager administered the system with rights to edit and view all files. Four other managers were allowed full viewing rights. Other managers only had access rights to view their respective employee’s files.

The Bottom Line
The solution increased productivity between human resource managers and department managers. It eliminated time consuming duplicate data entry and routing of information. Efficiency was improved through the automation the human resource business process. There has been a savings in space and elimination of lost records. By following standard system back up procedures, documents are now secured from damage or total loss in the event of a disaster.  The system reduced operating costs and enhanced employee satisfaction by streaming the processing and approval of human resource business transactions.
