This training session provides complete instruction and instructional materials focusing on the document and data capture processes. Among the included material is training on: Document Preparation, Scanner Operation, Scanner Operation Maintenance, Batch Management, Software Scanner Controls, Scanning and Importing Documents, Quality Control Operations, Validation Processes, Verification Processes, Exception Processing, and Release Processing. This class is designed for the end-user that will be handling the day-to-day operation of creating batches, scanning, and importing documents, indexing documents, and releasing the documents into the Enterprise Content Management system. Each user will be given the opportunity for hands-on practical experience in document and data capture.
Ascent Capture Administration Training
This training session provides complete instruction and instructional materials focusing on the creation of document and data capture processes. Among the included material is training on: Creating Batch Classes, Document Classes, Form Types and Field Types, Document Separation, Zonal OCR, Registration Zones, Form Identification Zones and Separator Zones, Database Lookup for Validation, Recognition Profiles, PDF Generation, Full-Text OCR, Custom Dictionaries, User Profiles, Import/Export of Batch Classes, and Release Scripts. This class is designed for the capture administrator who will be responsible for participating in the design, implementation, or support of the document imaging and forms processing solution.
Ascent Capture Technical Certification Training
This course is designed for experienced technical professionals who are participating in the design, implementation, and support of component-based document imaging and forms processing solutions using Kofax Ascent Capture. This course is also appropriate for developers engaged in related solution customization and development. This intensive hands-on course is designed to provide a thorough and complete understanding of the Kofax Ascent Capture product, its functionality, configuration, integration, and customization. During this course, attendees will become familiar with installing and configuring Ascent Capture, creating batch classes, and integrating Ascent Capture with other document and data management solutions. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: Describe and understand the capture process; Install and configure Ascent Capture; Confidently demonstrate Ascent Capture to departmental and other end-users; Understand the functions, capabilities and features of Ascent Capture, Upgrade previous versions of Ascent Capture to the current version; and be able to demonstrate the administration and operation of Ascent Capture. The course will begin at 8:30 am on the first day and conclude at 4 pm on the fifth day. All books, documentation and other course materials are provided.
Prerequisites: To maximize the learning experience, interested students should have the following prerequisites: Understanding of the Windows 32-bit environment and its GUI conventions (2000, XP, or Server 2003); Working knowledge of Client/Server; Experience using windows based applications.
Oracle Imaging and Process Management
Imaging End-User Training
This training session provides completed instruction and instructional materials focusing on the out-of-the-box image and digital retrieval process needed by end-users and power users. Among the included material is training on: Utilizing Saved Queries, Using Search Results, Viewing Documents and Controls, Document Annotations, Page Annotations and Redactions, Printing Documents, Faxing and Emailing, Modifying Indexes, Delete Pages and Documents, Import Universal Documents, Document Versioning, and Other Standard Functionality. This class is designed for the end-user that will be retrieving, printing, faxing, emailing, and annotating documents archived in the Oracle repository. Each student will be given the opportunity for hands-on practical experience in document retrieval procedures.
Imaging Administration Training
This training session provides complete instruction and instructional materials focusing on the out-of-the-box image and digital document management functionality of the system. Among the included material is training on: Overview of Services, System Backup, Storage Class Definition, Logs, Application and Report Definition, Filing Management, Creation of Saved Searches, Creation of Picklists, Mapping Picklists, Security, Galleries/Tool Assignments, and Other Standard Functionality. This class is designed for the system administrator that will be responsible for creating saved searches, creating application definitions, security, etc. Each student will be given the opportunity for hands-on practical experience in document retrieval procedures.
Imaging Business Manager's Training
This hands-on course is designed to assist the Imaging Business Administrator with the day-to-day operation of the Oracle Image Management environment. The students are taken through a logical progression of the client interface and functionality, beginning with security and its impact on search and retrieval capabilities through building application definitions. The students will be involved in a series of hands-on labs designed to expose the functionality of Image Management through the Windows Client. Among the included material is training on: Use of all Client Tools, Creation of Application Definitions, Security Architecture, Creation of Simple and Complex Searches, User Interface, User Preferences, Annotation of Objects, and the Microsoft Office Integration. This class is designed to assist the administrator with the day-to-day operation of the Oracle Image Management environment. Students will be involved in a series of hands-on labs designed to expose functionality.
This class begins at 8:30 am on the first day and concludes at 12 noon on the third day.
Imaging Technical Certification Training
This course concentrates on the skills required to install and maintain an Oracle Image Management solution. Emphasis is placed on the technical aspects of the product, including architecture, database structure, features, and functionality of the service environment, installation and configuration of services and hardware/software requirements. During this course, students will be involved in a variety of lab exercises covering topics such as system administration, input methods and retrieval, gallery creation and manipulation, query building functions, application development and installation and configuration. The course equips students with the necessary skills to work successfully within the Stellent Image Management environment and to understand the relationships between the Services and their functions. Each student will receive his or her Oracle Image Management Technical Certification following successful completion of the course exam.

Among the included material is training on: Process Tools, Workflow Packages, Creating a Package Manually, Package Search, Ad-Hoc Routing of Packages, Package Definition, Adding Attachments, and Viewing Attachments. This class is designed for the end-user that will be processing packages through the work-flow. Each student will be given the opportunity for handson practical experience in processing packages through the workflow process.
Standard Process Administrator Training
This training session provides complete instruction, lab practice, and instructional materials focusing on the out-of-the-box workflow configuration, administration, and operational features of the system. Among the included material is training on: Process Builder Operations, Ad-Hoc Process Procedures, Business Rules Process Functions, Process Control Functions, Workflow Gallery Tools/Setup, Process Security, Process Monitoring & Administration, Process Modifications, Work Item Package Concepts, and Approval Processing Concepts. This class is designed for the administrator that will be responsible for managing and creating workflow processes, monitoring processing or packages, etc. Each student will be given the opportunity for hands-on practical experience in creating a workflow process.
Process Business Manager's Training
This hands-on course is designed to assist the Process Administrator with the day-to-day operation of the Oracle Process environment. The students are taken through a logical progression of the client interface and functionality, beginning with security and its impact on package capabilities through creating processes. The students will be involved is a series of hands-on labs designed to aid in the understanding of the relationship between Builder and the client. Among the included materials is training on: Use of All Client Tools, Understand Security Architecture, Create Processes in Builder, Work Packages, Establish Preferences, and Add Attachments. This hands-on class is designed for the administrator that will be responsible for managing and creating workflow processes, monitoring processing or packages, etc. Each student will be given the opportunity for hands-on practical experience in creating workflow processes, processing packages, and monitoring the processes.
This class begins at 8:30 am on the first day and concludes at 12 noon on the third day.
Process Technical Certification Training
This course covers workflow analysis, design and the use of Oracle's workflow management tools within the Process architecture. The method of instruction is built around case studies. Emphases are placed on the student’s ability to effectively design, troubleshoot and apply processes and manipulate user interfaces. This course covers the particulars for the Process components of Builder, Manager and the Image Management production client. During this course, students will be involved in a variety of lab exercises covering topics such as analysis, metrics, and reports, modification of existing processes, end-user functionality, process verification, and planning and production of new processes. Students will participate in the installation of the Process components. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to build and support processes, triggered events, generate forms and utilize all functions of Process. Each student will receive his or her Oracle Process Technical Certification following successful completion of the course exam.

I/PM SDK Complete Certification Training
This course is designed to enable developers and integrators utilize the open architecture of the Imaging and Process system for their custom requirements. This course exposes the various methods, which can be employed to extend the Oracle I/PM architecture through COM objects, ActiveX controls, and Web Services. During the course, students will be involved in a variety of lab exercises covering topics such as Emulating I/PM in a custom application, adding custom tools to the I/PM client, creating web service URL/applications to provide seamless integrations. Upon completion of the course, students will be given a final exam. Students must pass the final exam to receive their I/PM SDK Complete Certification.
This course will begin at 8:30 am on the first day and conclude at 5 pm on the fifth day. This course is conducted at Oracle's training facility.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of the Imaging and Process certification course or the I/PM for Developers prerequisite is required. Students must be knowledgeable in .NET.
Oracle UCM
Content Server End-User Training
This training session provides complete instruction and instructional materials focusing on consumer activities such as navigation, searching for and viewing content, updating metadata fields, subscribing to content, and personalizing navigation. In addition, the class will cover contributing content, checking content out, revising content, using HTML forms to enter content, and finding expired content. This class is designed for the end-user that will be searching content, viewing content, updating metadata fields etc. The student will be taken through a series of exercises offering hands-on experience. This class is a prerequisite for the UCM Technical Certification class.
Content Server Administrator Training
This training session provides instruction on the key skills that all technical users need to understand and perform including security models and tasks, both role-based and account-based; metadata fields, including content types, custom information fields, and user fields; creation of criteria-based workflows; using WebDAV as an alternate editing and contribution method; configuring general system properties; archiving content; and enabling components that offer specialized functions. This class is designed for the administrator responsible for creating custom metadata fields, designing security, creating workflows, etc. The student will be lead through hands-on exercises to gain experience with the Content Management system.
Content Server Technical Certification Training
This comprehensive course focuses on implementation tasks and administrative skilled within Content Server. It teaches the following administrative skills: Designing a security model using security groups, roles, users, and accounts; Designing a metadata model, managing content types, and adding custom metadata fields; Configuring general System Properties for contribution, such as automatic assignment of Content ID on check in; Enabling components that offer specialized functions and efficiencies; Contributing content using Windows Explorer Integration and the Batchloader administrative applet; Creating workflows to represent a formal approval process for content checked into the Content Server; Managing content subscriptions; Using Archiver to export, import, transfer or replicate content easily; Creating dependent choice lists, modifying existing Content Server pages, and creating Custom Check in and Search pages to simplify the appearance of metadata for users; and Managing multiple servers using the Configuration Migration Utility and Archiver Table Replication to easily synchronize metadata, export and import workflows, and manage other configuration data from one server to another.

Prerequisites: Content Server contributor and consumer skills. Requirement is satisfied by completion of the UCM End-User Training class or equivalent experience.
Customizing Content Server
This course focuses on the fundamental skills necessary to change the look-and-feel and functionality of Oracle’s out-of-the-box product by creating custom components. Among the included material is training on the following: Understanding the architecture of Content Server; Understanding the resources available for creating custom components, such as server-side includes and database queries; Learning Idoc Script which is Oracle Content Servers custom scripting language; and Planning a custom component.
This course begins at 9 am on the first day and concludes at 4 pm on the third day. All books, documentation, and other course materials are provided.
Prerequisites: Completion of the UCM End-User Training or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of HTML and general programming skills are helpful but not required.
Contributing to Site Studio Websites
This course teaches content authors how to contribute to their organization’s web site in the following ways: From a web site created with Site Studio: learn how to edit existing content and add new content both from native applications and from the Site Studio Contributor application; From Content Server: ways in which content authors can add and edit content from the Content Server; and From Windows Explorer Integration: use WebDAV technology to add and edit content from Windows Explorer. This class is designed for the end-user that will be contributing content to a web site through Site Studio.
Site Studio Fundamentals Training
This course focuses on the skills necessary to contribute to, design, and build web sites using Site Studio with content managed by Content Server. Among the included material is training on the following: Using Site Studio Contributor, Content Server, and Windows Explorer to edit web site content; Participating in workflow to review web site content; Creating a web site hierarchy and navigation; Designing web page layouts; Adding contribution regions and native content to layout pages to enable editing directly from the web site; Creating dynamic lists; Validating content submitted through Site Studio Contributor; and Using Dynamic Converter to format and view native content.
This class begins on at 9 am on the first day and concludes at 4 pm on the fourth day. All books, documentation and other course materials are provided.
Prerequisites: Working knowledge of HTML. General programming skills are also helpful.

This class is intended for the system administrator that will be creating application definitions, setting security and handling general administration of the content management system.
ERMXtender Strandard Training
This training session provides complete instruction and instructional material focusing on the configuration and processing of ERM Reports, using the AX client to verify proper report and document processing tasks, and identifying routine monitoring and management tasks used to maintain the ERMXtender system. Among the included material is training on: Configure and Process Simple Reports; Configure and Process Complex Reports; Configure and Process PDF Reports; and Routine Monitoring and Management Tasks.
